Welcome to a brand new year! There is a special energy that comes with starting fresh, and I'm thrilled to kick off 2025 with all of you. This year promises new adventures and opportunities, and I can't wait to share them.

We're expanding our horizons with exciting new classes in Roane and Morgan County! Recently, I've introduced two new homeschool classes at Oliver Springs Library and Coalfield Library. These sessions will provide a fantastic outlet for creative expression, and together, we will inspire the minds of young artists!

New Beginnings: Classes and Workshops

Teaching has been such a rewarding journey for me, and I'm excited to broaden my class offerings. This year, you can expect a variety of engaging workshops designed for everyone, from casual crafters to those wanting to polish their skills. For instance, our card-making workshop will focus on techniques to create stunning personalized cards using various mediums.

These classes will sharpen your skills and foster a sense of community among participants. There's nothing quite like sharing ideas and learning from each other. So gather your friends and make plans to create something beautiful together this year!

Crafting with Heart: My New Sewing Machine

This year, I treated myself to a sewing machine for Christmas. The excitement I felt unwrapping it was unmatched! I'm diving into fun projects, including making pockets for junk journals. For those unfamiliar, junk journals repurpose materials into unique, creative designs—perfect for showcasing your personality and style.

Expect to see some of these creations in our classes, as I share tips on integrating new techniques into your crafting routine. Finding time to sew, craft, or pursue something creative can provide a refreshing break from daily life. It doesn’t require a lot; even 30 minutes a week can inspire relaxation and joy.

Card Subscription Club: A Year-Long Crafting Journey

If 2024 was a whirlwind of creativity, get ready for an even more exciting 2025! The Card Subscription Club had an incredible year, and I invite you to join us for this creative journey.

Imagine exciting handmade cards arriving in your mailbox each month! Each card is crafted with attention to detail and intended for various occasions. This is a wonderful way to stay connected with friends and family. Did you know that sending a handwritten card can boost your mood and strengthen relationships?

Being part of this club means you'll receive not just beautiful cards, but also inspiration for your own crafting projects. Sending and receiving handmade cards creates a personal touch like no other. I can't wait to share this journey with you!

Stay Connected: Tips and Showcases

As I gear up for these new opportunities, I encourage everyone to stay engaged through my social media. Every other week, I will share a "Tip of the Week" and a "Product Showcase".

These tips will cover crafting techniques, recommended tools, and unique materials to inspire and elevate your crafting experience. For example, I’ll demonstrate how using the right type of adhesive can improve your projects by up to 50%. Also included with be health tips.

I truly believe crafting should be fun and fulfilling. My weekly insights aim to provide you with the tools and motivation to ignite your creativity.
